Stay with us and enjoy these wonderful Central Texas amenities!
ON THE WATER
Water activities include boating, water skiing, fishing, wake boarding, sailing, and tubing. Near by marina offers party boats, jet skis, and wave runners for rent. There is year-round fishing in Texas lakes and peaceful, pleasant surroundings.
Horseshoe Bay has three of the finest golf courses in Texas along with the spectacular Whitewater putting course, a truly one-of-a-kind course. *Horseshoe Bay Golf courses and Whitewater putting course usually requires resort membership for access, which is not included. Several other public golf courses are available near the area.
WINERIES & BEAUTIFUL OUTDOORS
Popular wine tours and the Texas wine trail, gorgeous scenery in the local resort with plenty of safe areas to walk, do yoga, throw a football, and exercise.
There are some great local barbeque joints nearby in Marble Falls and Burnet – a quick drive for lunch or dinner for some excellent brisket and ribs.
If you are attending a wedding at the Horseshoe Bay Resort or near Lake LBJ or Lake Marble Falls, our home is the perfect place to stay. It is just a few minutes walking distance to the main resort hotel (and the hotel also usually provides shuttles) and only about 2 minutes walking distance to the Yacht Club beach. The townhouse comfortably accommodates family or friends who want to fully enjoy their stay, have an ideal place to dress, and convenient access to the wedding and reception activities.
BIRDS AND TEXAS WILDFLOWERS
Central Texas hill country is a popular place during the Spring months when wildflowers bloom in a variety of amazing colors along the Texas highways and in the nearby gardens. Bird watching is also a popular activity in the area, with many coots, ducks, hawks, vultures, pelicans, jays, cardinals and more. There are bonus visiting opportunities at the local Horseshoe Bay Resort’s bird rescue program, where they care for parrots, flamingos, owls and other birds.
